CSI that works

  

The FirstRand Foundation and Tshikululu Social Investments hosted the 10th in a series of events showcasing 'CSI that Works' at the FNB Training Centre in Sandton on Tuesday, 10 October 2017.

  

Increasingly the importance of quality primary school education is being understood by society. Insights from the FNB Primary Education Programme (PEP) evaluation were discussed unpacked and the insights and lessons learnt to strengthen future investment in primary education were shared.

  

Speakers

Jennifer Bisgard, Khulisa project director, and Leticia Tiamo, associate of Khulisa Management Services, presented their research on the end-term evaluation of the FNB pilot project for the primary education programme. This was followed by a facilitated panel discussion with Khulisa and PEP service providers (MIET,CASM, PMDP, UFS, Molteno and Assitej South Africa).

The event concluded with a facilitated panel discussion with principals and district directors from participating districts from Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Free State.
