The FirstRand Foundation is the vehicle through which the Group and its businesses direct corporate social investment (CSI). FirstRand believes that corporations have a responsibility – beyond creating jobs and paying taxes – to contribute to the social and economic upliftment of all South Africans.

FirstRand employees have donated over R20 million in both time and money to their chosen beneficiaries since 2003. 22% of the Group’s staff complement of more than 34 000 participate in the FirstRand Volunteers Programme.
