FirstRand Foundation
The Foundation considers support for non-profit organisations and institutions working towards the development and empowerment of the broader community. It focuses on areas such as education, job creation, skills development, primary health care, safe community initiatives, arts and culture, environment and community care programmes. Building on the significant existing commitments to social investment
by FirstRand Group Companies, the FirstRand Foundation was established
in 1999 to give greater purpose and cohesion to this work. The FirstRand
Foundation website is a comprehensive point of reference providing details
about the projects supported by the Foundation, by sector and province.
